Nesting Parts is a Simple Process

CAD NESTER is designed to let you simply and quickly build a reusable nested-parts database using your existing CAD (DXF/DWG) files.  You can add your parts to your nested-parts database either individually or in batch.  You can also specify part quantity and restrictions on orientation, either during or after the addition of parts to your nested-parts database.  Finally, each nested-parts database allows you to configure nesting behaviors like part spacing, material border allowances and part-in-part nesting for the associated nest.

CAD NESTER uses a true-shape nesting algorithm that supports multiple part nested-based manufacturing. This helps to maximize your material usage, and the nesting process easily accommodates changes in your production requirements.  Special considerations have been made to address both part-in-part and single-part nesting scenarios.  Additionally, you can manipulate part placement after a nest has been generated.

WE-CIM automates the nesting process by taking advantage of your existing MRP/ERP data. Its intuitive interface allows you to quickly map fields from your MRP/ERP data using a one step setup process. ADV FABRICATION accepts standard file types such as delimited ASCII, single-line data, Excel spreadsheets, and more!
